We’re thrilled to share the story of our latest collaboration with Eblers Roskilde, a festival that embodies the spirit of friendship, creativity, and music. This year, we contributed a custom pergola to enhance the festival experience, blending our design expertise with the vibrant atmosphere of the event. But before we dive into the details, let’s take a journey through the history of Eblers Roskilde and how it all began.

The Birth of Eblers Roskilde

Eblers Roskilde Festival was founded by three friends, led by Lars Ebler. The idea sprouted years ago when they decided to hang out a few days before attending the renowned Danish Roskilde Festival. They gathered at Ebler’s Farm, creating their own pre-festival festivities. This gathering soon became a cherished tradition.When the COVID-19 pandemic hit and the Roskilde Festival was canceled for two consecutive years, Lars refused to let the tradition die. With a small group of friends, he continued the celebration, naming it "Eblers Roskilde." The intimate gatherings during those challenging times became the foundation for what would eventually grow into a significant event.

Post-pandemic, Eblers Roskilde expanded, inviting more friends and artists. From its humble beginnings, it blossomed into a vibrant festival featuring renowned artists like Malte Ebert, Skinz, Alexander Oscar, and Lovestick. This year, with performances by Medina, Mads Langer, Nicklas Sahl, and Infernal, 2024 marked the festival’s biggest year with the most participants yet.

 

Rackbuddy's Contribution: The Pergola

This year, Rackbuddy had the privilege of contributing to the festival with a custom-built pergola. Constructed from silver water pipes, the pergola is a stunning addition to the event space. It features a floating table, a bar area, and a beautifully decorated setup with light bulbs and plants, creating a cozy and inviting area for festival-goers to hang out and enjoy the festivities.

Our pergola was designed to enhance the experience of those long Danish summer days, providing a perfect spot for relaxation and socializing. Built on an existing terrace, it integrates seamlessly with the surroundings, adding a touch of elegance and practicality to the festival.
